Three Ways To Dress Up Orange Top

Continuing with my last week's post, here are three ways to style the tangerine top.

                            Look 1                                        Look 2                                  Look 3
I have talked about versatile styling and wardrobe in my earlier posts. This is how you can add versatility to your dressing with a plain solid color top.

  • In the First look, I have kept it simple by pairing the tangerine top with Khaki Pants. I have completed this look with a khaki bag and a ballerina which has both the colors.
  • In the Second Look, I have wore this tangerine top with a pair of black jeans and have completed the look with an animal print scarf
  • In the Third look, I have paired the top with electric blue plazzo pants. Here I have paired two strong contrasting colors which makes a very unique and daring combination which will make you stand out from the crowd. I have completed this look with the wooden color strappy wedges.

The Body Shop Moisturizer Review

We all want to have Just the Right skin and trust me its very difficult to get the right beauty products.

I have a mixed skin (oily as well as dry), the difficult skin type from all, which is prone to blackheads, pimples, sometimes excessive dryness and sometimes excessively oily. With such a skin type, I don't experiment much with the beauty products and once i found something which suits my skin, I maintain the brand loyalty.

I was looking for a good moisturizer for my skin which I can use daily in the morning and also before to the bed. Due to the sensitivity of my skin, I didn't want to buy two separate creams. Then my sister introduced me with Vitamin E moisturizer from The Body Shop. The day I saw that I knew this is what I am looking for.

The product is meant for all skin type. The inclusion of Vitamin E helps to prevent premature aging and damage from free radicals. I am using this moisturizer from 4 months now and it has done wonders to my skin. It is non greasy and easy absorbed on my skin.

Things I like the most about the product :-
  • Non-Greasy and easy absorbed in the skin
  • Mild and gentle
  • No Fragrance. I don't like to smell like fruits
Price is the only concern but considering The Body Shop brand and all the wonders this product has done to my skin, I don't mind to shell out some extra money.

DIY - Nail Art

I don't care much about dressing the nails. I am very comfortable if I am wearing one solid nail paint. When I was in hostel, all of my friends were crazy for nail art but personally I have never been a very big fan till the day I did it myself. Today I was sorting my stuff and realized that I have so many nail paints lying unused.I mostly use very typical colors like red, pink, orange or sometime a french manicure for an office meeting but being a girl I like to collect stuff...

Finally, I decided to try a nail art. I didn't have proper brushes but somehow I managed. It was really fun activity and since morning I am only glaring at my nails..

FYI it is much easier to do it on left hand.

If you also like to do such DIY activities, share it with me. I don't mind to post it on my blog..

Tangerine and Tribal Print Skirts

Last year it was all about tangerine color; all fashion blogs, fashion magazines were talking about tangerine and ways to style tangerine in daily dressing.

Nobody wanted to miss the chance to style this beautiful color in their dressing. This is how I dressed it last year here but my obsession is not yet over. I love the color and I still find ways to add it to my dressing. I just can't resist the fresh look it brings to any outfit.

This is how I have styled my new Tangerine top which I have bought from Myntra . I paired this beautiful color with tribal print skirt which I have picked up from Max Fashion. The day I saw this skirt, I knew that it will look the best with this tangerine top though I am looking forward to style this skirt with other colors as well.

Somehow the look went just right with the printed black and beige flats, turquoise bracelet and wooden neck piece.

This is the best way to transform you old clothes that you have worn lot of times even then you aren't tired of them. Give your old clothes a new look and new feel by mix- matching them with different colors.

I will be talking about contrast traditional clothing in my wedding post which I am  thinking to write soon considering it will help you to choose the best. So Stay Tuned to Keepitstylishnkn

Trendy yet Traditional

The Indian woman has become extremely conscious about their dressing and is ready to explore and experiment with their looks. For me, fashion has always been my personal taste and individuality.
You can either go trendy or completely ethnic, it's purely a matter of choice. Experiment different looks with traditional, fancy, aesthetic attires.

Here are some tips for Diwali Dressing :-

  • Team a shift dress with vibrant or contrast chudidar and stole. Complete this look with traditional jewelry and an aesthetic clutch
  •  Wear your Kurtas with your colored jeans. This look is awesome. Complete this look with a stole, a traditional sling bag and punjabi Jutti
  • Contrast.. Its a way to go this season or every season. It gives your old clothes a new and fresh look. Just try different contrast with your old attires and shine this Diwali.
  • Neon.. You can try this with old and your new clothes. Try neon color blouses or a neon border on your stole or a neon piping on your kurta or a neon chudidar. If this doesn't work out then you can also experiment with neon accessories like clutches, jewelry or shoes.
  • Floor length anarkalis are in fashion. Try a kalidar empire-line kurta with semi-precious stones.
It's time for some pictures. My office celebrated Diwali yesterday and here are the pictures.
