Semolina in Four ways

I am sure everyone will like this fast and easy semolina recipes which gets ready in less than 10 minutes.

Plain Semolina Dessert 

Ingredients-

  • Semolina - 1Cup
  • Pure Ghee - 3/4 Cup
  • Sugar - 1 Cup
  • Turmeric Powder- A pinch
  • Dry Fruits (Almond, Cashwes)  - Handful off
  • Water - 3 Cups
Method - 
  • Heat a pan and add pure ghee in it. 
  • Add Semolina and roast it until it changes its color
  • Make a mixture of sugar, water and turmeric. Once semolina is done, add the mixture into it and stir continuously
  •  Once the mixture starts becoming thick, turn off the gas and garnish the dessert with chopped dry fruits.
And your semolina dessert is ready to serve.

Banana Semolina Dessert

Additional Ingredient- Banana for Flavor

Before garnishing add a mashed banana and stir it nicely

Almond Semolina Dessert

Crush the almonds and add to the mixture when you are done roasting Semolina. Don't use turmeric in this recipe.The rest of the recipe is same.

The dessert recipes are high on calories but once a while its fine to grab a portion of these yummy easy to make desserts. For the health conscious people, here is a healthy Semolina breakfast recipe 

Semolina Breakfast


Ingredients-
  • Semolina - 1 cup
  • Chopped Veggies - carrot, green peas, onion and green chillies
  • Olive oil - 1 spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Water - 3 cups
Method -
  • Add oil in a pan and add chopped veggies & salt
  • Once the vegetables are cooked, add semolina & roast it until brown
  • Add three cups of water and stir continuously till the mixture gets thicker
Your Yummy healthy breakfast is ready to eat.
